The Canopy Residency

From 2021-2025, we offered studio space and artistic support to artists-in-residence through an open call juried by guest curators. Meet the artists-in-residence:

Previously called Plum-Lime Residency

In 2023 and 2024, we were honored to host artists from Montreal, Canada, as part of a collaborative International Residency with Artch.

Artch is a non-profit organization working to identify, support, train and promote emerging contemporary artists, as well as creating links between the art communities and the business world, new art collectors and the general public.

The immersive residencies introduced the Montreal-based artists to the New York art world, through studio visits with artists, gallery tours with our program faculty, specialized workshops and a critiques with an esteemed panel of artists.
